I'm planning on getting a new game this weekend but i cant seem to make up my mind if i should either get Gears of War or GRAW2?

GoW ... GRAW2 sucks IMO

I'd say GOW.Rainbow 6 is good too if you don't have it...

I was bored of GoW after a weekend of playing. The Coop campaign was it's only saving grace as far as gameplay is concerned. Multiplayer is pretty boring, so it didn't have much replayability to me. But I seem to be in the minority for this one. I just think it gets a free pass because of the hype and the graphics. *shrugs*

GRAW2 is ok. The SP mode is pretty short, but I did enjoy it. I think it took me about 4 hours to complete it on the hardest setting.
Haven't really got the chance to play any MP yet.

R6:V is the game I have enjoyed the most so far.

i say rainbow 6 > Gears > GRAW 2.

gears is better than rainbow IMO, but i got more play value out of rainbow, so i'd get it before gears if i had to choose now.

For the single player experience, I would say hands down Gears.

If you are planning on playing Coop over live or at home, again Gears hands down because you can play the entire campaign coop.

If the campaign is secondary and you prefer MP, GRAW2 is much more appealing to me (maps, game types, highly customized, etc.). In fact, compared to other shooters out there right now I think the MP in Gears falls way short. Just my 2 cents. :)

The multiplayer on GRAW2 is pretty fun. I just got RB6: Vegas today and have heard nothing but good things about that.

basically what he said. it depends what you are looking for though, GoW is more of an arcade shooter, where as GRAW2 is more of a realistic shooter.

Can't go wrong with either. I assume you've played GRAW1? If not, pick that up as it's a great value right now.

Just get the game that you think you'd like.. Graw 2 and Gears are very good games with pros and cons... You need to atleast explain what type of games you like, if you play online, etc..
