Currently, my entire theater room is covered with black felt from Joann's.
It does wonders to increase contrast and provide a pleasing image for my projector, but I'm sure it is not having a good effect on my audio setup.
I am thinking of painting the entire room, but I am not sure if any type/color of paint is going to give me the same effect as the felt. The screen just seems to float in space, and there is very little light reflecting anywhere.
If anyone else has done the switch, please give me your observations.
