I have some leftover 1" OC703 (well actually Ottawa Fibre Inc. BMC (http://www.ofigroup.com/products/can_pdfs/BMC-factsheet.pdf) and FSK (http://www.ofigroup.com/products/can_pdfs/BMC-factsheet.pdf) board but acoustically identical).
I have 5 2'x4' sheets of BMC and 2 2'x4' sheets of FSK.
Free to a good home - otherwise it will go to the landfill. PM me if interested - first come, first served.

I'll take it :)
Putting up 703'esque material is exactly the point I'm at in my renovation. I wouldn't mind seeing your progress as well. PM sent.

Not sure since I didn't use either one. I used OFI (http://www.ofigroup.com/can/can_design_pro_prod_list_spec.htm) but there are basically a bunch of 1" rigid fibreglass alternatives that you can use with similar absorption co-efficients. BasementBob has the co-efficients of the most popular ones HERE (http://www.bobgolds.com/AbsorptionCoefficients.htm)
I think its just a function of what is most available and priced well in your area. For me it was OFI.
Hope that helps.
Craig.

Guys, the left-over materials I have are spoken for. If you want to get the same OFI material in the GTA, go to Glass-Cell Isofab @ 1000 Martin Grove in Etobicoke. Its ~$1/sq.ft for the 1" material.
