I know very little about just what is currently available out their in DVR's. To this point I have yet to find a DVR that dose this, but truthfully I have only researched for a few hours recently..

I know you can find upscaling DVD "players" that will do this, like the Oppo-971H.

But,,, are there any (DVR's) that will do upscaling out "both" it's HDMI and component outputs.??

Am I just dreaming or what here...

Upconversion from a DVDR is a relatively new feature. So far, every DVDR that I've seen that offers upconversion, only does so through the HDMI output.
