I bought the Eye-One LT sensor
installed it witht he software, ran a test and it seems to work fine.
Now, I downloaded and installed the HCRF s/w and opened a new file,
selected HCRF Generator
and selected Eye One as my sensor
and selected Z for my calibration file (from the drop down box) - (as I'm trying to calibrate my Sanyo Z4- not such a newbie after all if I could figure that out :-) )
Then click Finish
Nice GUI, with charts -cool

Under the gray scale I clicked the "Measure" button, but it gave me the following error. " Error during generator initiation"
What am I doing wrong?

Also another question - how do I set up the sensor (physically speaking) I don't see anywhere to mount it on a tripod?

I did read through posts for the past 3 hours. So I should get some credit for trying (or pity for being an idoit).
BUt I'd appreciate the help

thanks,
Jon

in your eyeone file there should be a .DLL file, copy that at paste it to the ColorHCFR folder where the executable is at for ColorHCFR and then restart the program

The calibration file is useless for you. Its only for the ColorHCFR probe, not any other probe.

For mounting, you will need to be creative, but what you can do is superglue a hexnut that fits on the tripod, then take the hex nut and superglue to a small suction cup in the back, and press the suction cup to the back of the sensor and then mount it to the tripod

what is the name of the .dll
there are a few there?
Also do I delete any of the .dll's currnetly in the HCRF folder?
or rename/overwirte?
