Can anyone tellme how to turn off the audio beep on the pioneer 9800 head unit? Everytime you turn the volume up with the steering wheel controls (or do anything with it) it makes this beeping sound. I saw it posted here before but can't find that post anymore.

it should be in the manual...
while the head unit is off but with power, you have to press & hold one of the preset buttons (i can't remember specifically which one) to open the setup screen. from there, you can change radio settings including the beep.

I think my older pioneer was pressing select and number six for a few seconds.
