Hello. I'm looking for a website that will teach me the basics of audio principles and also the in-depth information required to obtain A/V certifications. I've been reading some articles on the Audioholics website but I'd like to find a more "textbook" like site that covers everything a person with no knowledge looking to get a certification would need. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

I'll recommend, "High Performance Loudspeakers" 6th edition.

It has alot of technical info in it, but it is layed out so that you can skip around if you don't quite understand something at that point. The later chapters will define things a little more clearly.
