Ok, this may be a very silly question but here it is anyway: I am in the process of putting together a home theater in my basement. Can I run regular speaker wires on my floor which has radiant floor heating? Or should I use CL3-rated in-wall speaker wires given the heat that is generated by the floor? I'm simply running the wires on the floor (they're not buried or anything) but given the heat, I'm just concerned that it could be a fire hazard. Then again, I may be completely paranoid. Any help/advice you guys may have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Your floor isn't going to get hot enought to melt anything other than an ice cube.

If you can stand on it without burning your feet, your wires will be fine.

FYI - Typical speaker wire is rated 60 deg. C
