I think the new samsungs have "JustScan" which is a 1:1 mapping. Will any of the new panasonics have this feature, or are they are all overscanned on all inputs?

It depends on the inputs and the TV's native resolutions.

Samsung don't mean jack if you don't use the right input like DVI connection. HDMI will not allow you to use 1:1 pixel mapping.

All Panasonic Professional series have an input space available for you to add the DVI blade. Connect the DVI cable from the DVI blade on your TV to the video source device to get 1:1 pixel mapping.

My HTPC system has Panny pro series plasma and it's run via DVI-D for 1:1 pixel mapping.

I thought that the JustScan feature on samsung did exactly that - 1:1 mapping on HDMI inputs, so you could use a DVI-HDMI adapter...

*I* really don't think JustScan on the Sammy will turn the image into 1:1 pixel mapping. Based on my knowledge the 1:1 pixel mapping is more hardware based, such that requires either 1366x768 or 1920x1080 physical native resolution displays and use of DVI connection to enable 1:1 mapping. Using a DVI-to-HDMI cable will take conversion, to a HDMI format to your TV. The 1:1 pixel mapped signals will be lost. That has been my belief. I cannot say Sammy will surely not output 1:1 mapping but I have the doubts about it..

But then... I don't know much about what JustScan on the Sammy does. Maybe this Sammy has implemented a new technology that turns into 1:1 mapping using HDMI? I don't know.....
