Hey all, here's my delima. I have a small car with almost no truck (Mazda Protege) and I currently have a Kicker 12 in a 1.2 cubic ft sealed MDF box. I just want a little more on the low end than a 6x9, but I don't want a massive system hogging my precious truck space. That, and, whenever I need to get to my donut tire it's a nightmare of lifting and moving and such. I'm looking for a smaller solution that will give me good presence, but again I don't need to be like those dumb kids rattling windows as they drive by. I've been looking at the Infinity Basslink (or the Basslink II) but I can't seem to find one anywhere that's hooked up for me to listen to. I really like the size and mounting options that it offers, but I fear that after spending the money on it, it may not really do any more than my 6x9s. Integrated amp is not necessary. I have a 4 awg power wire going into a distribution block with 2 8 awg power wires going to my existing sub and my amp powering the cabin speakers. All remotes, RCAs and grounds are already there. Any suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated. Haven't ruled out the custom enclosure option either if anybody has had an experience going that route. Again, size matters.
