Hi, here's my problem:
I have an Optoma HD72 connected to a Comcast HD DVR via its DVI output.
There's a DVI - HDMI adapter at the wall which leads (30 feet) to the HDMI input on the projector.
When I view a standard definition channel, the image gets shifted and cut off on the right side and the remaining picture gets placed on the left side.
I then have to switch to the component input on the projector and it's fine.
Hi Def channels are fine through the HDMI input.
Optoma's tech support suggested a $200 HDMI booster would eliminate this.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thanks
