It simply hasn't been listed yet by Amazon. The release list is not necessarily Amazon's release list. The release list I'm using is partially based off beatboy's release list, hdd's release list, other websites, and posts made in this forum regarding announcements and delays. It is similar to the one in the Blockbuster thread. To me it seems a little more accurate and a little less fluid.

If in the future people prefer that I just use Amazon dates then I could switch.

Combine that with the fact that the rest of the June 6th slate is not up for pre-order (while other Disney titles around that date are), and I'm predicting we'll see Bruckheimer's movies moved to "Summer" as well. :(

The choice of films being released on BD is a mystery to me. Most are old and new ones, with a few exceptions, are not in the top tier. But if my memory is correct, 'they' did this for DVD as well when it first came out. I know the situation is more complicated now because of HD-DVD but BD looks so good on my new 1080p set that I consider movies like Bad Santa on BD a felony. North by North West and Ben Hur and Laurence of Arabia, old films for sure, but beautiful crafted ones, which have been restored to almost pristine condition and they would look sparklingly new on BD. Sony shows a short piece of L of A in their 'what's coming' previews and it looks wonderful. And after seeing Spiderman in HD on NBC; Sony where are thos films? I know they have been announced for the EU so they must be coming here this fall........ug.

Think of it this way...a new format is an opportunity to resell your classics...and your not so classics. It's a balance...dumping all your best stuff right at the beginning would be great for us the consumer, but mixing it up with some classics and many so-so films gives the opportunity for the other stuff to sell. It wouldn't really be the best financial decision to just put out all your best stuff...right at the beginning.

It actually...makes a lot of sense.

I preordered the Spiderman Trilogy high definition 3 pack. I believe that even though it says the format is DVD that it is in fact the high def. trilogy. There is no SD DVD 3 pack in that price range.

I assume that they will update it at some point to read correctly.
