FIgured I would post in both sections on my experience with my new 1080P TV.
I previously had a Samsung Pedestal DLP (720) and the XBOX add on drive and was very impressed.

I am currently using the XBOX drive and Sony Blu ray player along with the 46" XBR3.

Now for the comparisons. To say the least I will make it easy. Into the Blue on Blu ray and World Trade Center on HD DVD.

THEY BOTH LOOKED AWESOME!!! Both had a few spots here that could have been better but Jessica Alba in a bikini can't look bad, and some of the shots of New York in World Trade Center looked incredible

I'm format neutral and enjoying all the high def I can get. Just thought I would share my experience. Happy trails and movie watching

^my point exactly. I get really tired of reading day in and day out of people picking each format apart. They both have their advantages and disadvantages, and yes I agree things could be much easier if there was only one format. But with the 2 movies that I have watched so far both have been so much better than regular DVD I just wanted to spread the good word of hd.

I have absolutely no problem with positive insightful posts...The only thing is, that I read both format forums, and it's double work when I have to see the same thing twice...we have a forum for this type of info so the OP doesn't have to post his thoughts twice.

even better though was her in into the blue!

^that was the main reason I bought the movie and it was worth it :)
