30k screen with a 6k projector?
Based on the difference between my RS1 and mY Mercury HD, it would be dim. ;)

160 inch wide, how high. Assuming a 2:35 screen then height would be about 68 inches. So 68X160/144=75.5 You would be at 1.46 throw with a 160 wide screen at 6 meters. Let' say at max brightness with no lens shift that you get 750, lumens. That's likely the best possible case. That give you 750/75.5 or 9.9 fl Lumens. That's low with a new bulb. The test of the SR material say gain is actually .85 which gives you 8.4 foot lumens on a new bulb at high power and short throw. That is not counting any loss from the ISCO. I would say that the screen is too big.

7ftL with a NEW lamp....fading shortly to 3.5ftL....And that is assuming HD format screen (no lens) and 1.0 gain.
this would be under 5 foot lamberts. :(
This is definitely the wrong screen and there's no reason to get a curved one. The only real good reason to get a curved screen at this size is to use a higher gain screen surface and get good uniformity.
But you could accomplish the same thing with a high gain retro reflective surface and likely get better uniformity. Plus save a lot of money.
Try the Da-lite High Power. I promise it will amaze
I do have to laugh at the prospects of the misbalance of costs. It's like putting $20k tires on a $5k car and expecting amazing results ;)

FYI, not knocking the screen or the projector, just the combo. I am waiting for my SR 150" 2.35 masking screen (not curved), but this is with a Digital Projection Projector (aka, plenty of light).
