I am losing sound on an hdmi cable between my tv and sat box. I am going to replace the cable and hope that is the problem. I am looking at cables and most say 5 gig transfer and 720 or 1080i supported. I have only seen one cable that actually says 1080p support. Anyone else come across this or know if there is a real difference in these cables?

At shorter distances, there is no practical difference between cable of quality construction.

Monoprice.com sells affordable, quality cables that pass 1080p.
