Got tired of snaking video game cables through various inputs and got a nice switcher, that ALMOST does the trick. It makes me short one system. It has come to my attn. that Many AV recievers do transcoding, and could potentially solve my problems of Digital & Analog audio inputs.
I have 5 Systems and the following outputs:
1x S video
4x Component
3x SPDIF
2x RCA stereo
Frankly, I have such a backlog of games to play that it will be several years before another system. The other problem is that many of the games are 2D sprite based (a la SNK) with lots of motion... de-interlacing wreaks havoc on those graphics, so I have an SD CRT. Don't really want to upscale anything. Does that anti-lag device remedy that?
I just need to figure out a reciver that has 4 Components and 3 SPDIFs... Having programmable input readouts would be awesome as well. Is there such a unit?
ps2, xbox, gamecube, dreamcast, neotropolis mvs w/spdif out.
