Hi
My Runco 930 has been going great over the 6 years I've owned it.It has a total of 5300hrs and has been run in total dark rooms.

The other evening I noticed a red push in the dark scenes. On inspecting the tube faces with no signal,Blue and Green were clean, but on the red tube there were 8 light white bowed lines running from side to side on the tube face. They were flickering slightly and the colour intensity of the tube was also intermittently flickering/changing.

I checked all the connections on the deflection board and the other connections under the def board, giving them a good wiggle, pulling them and reinserting them.
It seemed to help for a few hours, but now the problems back and it's getting worse.

Any suggestions or help where to start looking or what board to change would be appreciated

You could swap the neckboards from red to blue and see if the problem follows the neck board....

Hi
A bit of searching has led me to understand that a crt socket is going bad or gone bad and that running the set could cause spot burn on shutdown.

How much would I expect to pay for a crt socket board for a 6pg xtra?

Hi
Are the neckboards and crt socket board one and the same thing?
