Hi, ill be a hdtv owner by tommorro, i bought the calibrating disc also.
What i want to know is, should i wait sertain hours to let the set warm up to calibrate it or it donst matter?

I had a bad exprience with tunnel failure with my old crt. From what i learn in here, light tunnel collasp by melting the side mirror?
If so can i prevent it by using it for a short period a time and give a break?

You don't say what kind of set, but it should be fine to go ahead and use the calibration dvd to set it up immediately. But you'll want to do it again after about 100 hours of use.

It wont hurt to calibrate several times as it breaks in over the 100 hour period, and that way you also get prectice using the calibration DVD.
