There are two settings for the XV-Z20000, i.e., the "eco" or "bright" setting for the bulb.

There are three iris settings, i.e., high brightness, medium, and low (high contrast).

Am I correct in assuming that it is the brightness setting which affects the life of the lamp, and the iris setting has no bearing on it?
