I have the dmr-EH75 and i recorded two shirley temple movies to the hard drive last night planning on copying them for my grandma, but they came up one time copy...that isn't something that happened with my last dvd recorder so I was wondering if anyone knew a way around this annoyingness
Your grandma must be living right. She has been spared the gross indignity of being subjected to Shirley Temple movies. That demon spawn is an embarassment and traitor to children everywhere. I'm 57 years old, and I know this to be true. ;) :D

Even if the PC has a DVD burner, how do you get it from the Panny's hard drive over to the PC?
Without an analog out and a re-capture on the PC causing a generation loss.

Sounds like "copy once" copy protection, which means that the program can exist as 1 copy only.
How were you planning to deliver the movies to your grandma, DVD or VHS?
If she has a DVD player, you can try to dub the movies to a DVD-RW that is CPRM compatible, or to a DVD-RAM if she has a DVD player that will play -RAM discs. She should be able to view the movies on her DVD player. However, when you dub to DVD, the copy on the HDD will be deleted automatically.
If you were going to dub to VHS, then you have a bit of a problem. The only way I can see to do this would be to first get the movies to a PC to remove the CPRM protection, and then take it back to your EH-75 to dub to VHS. Other can chime in with other solutions.
Good luck.
