I have just changed out my speakers, and believe it or not, this is my first setup where I don't either have dipoles or bipoles for my surrounds.

I currently have the matching bookshelf for my two surrounds wall mounted on the side walls. They are between 110 and 120 degrees. They are up at about 7'. Right now, they are currently firing at each other and not toe'd in at all.

I have heard different things about toe-in for surrounds. Do I want them firing right at the main listening position? Obviously, I will experiment myself, but is there a good rule of thumb?

Thanks
Greg

I presume you mean behind your main listening position.

If this is a 5.1 (or 5.0) system, the answer is YES, however, having come from bipoles/dipoles, you may not like them firing directly at you.

Experimenting is a good rule of thumb. :)
