I am setting up a Barco and the red and green scheimfluge adjustment screws are locked up . First off, I was wondering if this is common ? and what is a good safe way to un-stick them .

I would also like to know what these little adjustment screw/nuts do (pic attached )

I was wondering if they somehow were affecting the locked/stuck scheimfluge nuts .

I maybe wrong ,but I thought the lens screws needed to be un-screwed before you can make the adjustments.

You are referring to the lenses. He is talking about the Scheimfluge nuts which is where the pencil is pointing too.He is asking if these need to be turned at all before using scheimfluge.
I do not know the answer either.

This looks like a 1209s. Those screws you are pointing at must be loosened in order to adjust the flapping (whose screws are accessible through the top plate).

BTW, assuming I am correct and it is a 1209s, here is the install manual:

Thanks Dave ,
Sorry for the late reply, But I was out of town and have been horribly ill for the last few days .

I know the front nuts needed to be loosened off Before you adjust Schem , but these were stuck before I got them , and even with the front tightening nuts completely off it was stuck .

Most of the major problems are now fixed (One still jammed ) after a few days of prying they are now loosened, (Scott finally got them loosened )
The plastic Cam was just wedged into the groves that hold them in place
