Is there any advantage to setting the fan on a projector to a higher speed than normal in order to lengthen the life of the bulb.
For example, if I set the fan to a "high altitude" mode in order to get more airflow, will a cooler bulb last longer?
Is this worthwhile to pursue or is it only a neglible effect on bulb life?
