Are there any definitive "how to's" on setting up some small 5.1 speakers with the Radio Shack Sound Meter?

I've got a built in one with my Pioneer Elite receiver but I'm not to sure that one really does well.

I've also got some nasty bass vibrations coming fromt the windows that I'd like to try and correct.

The meter can't correct the windows -- only mechanical correction (like silicone caulking) will fix that.

I would trust the Elite better than the Radio Shack, unless you go all the way and use the Room EQ Wizard, and a laptop/computer, and a parametric EQ (like the Feedback Destroyer Pro).

ehhh, tell me more about the Feedback Destroyer Pro. I knew that neither would fix the bass vibrations but I want to know more about setting up the speakers.
