What are your guys thoughts on this projector. My dad and i are looking into it for our home theatre. Any info will be most appreciated

I've been able to mess around with this projector for several hours and it is VERY impressive. From what I have read the new JVC is well worth the extra money though.

If you go with the Pearl you will be extremely happy.

At the top of the page there is a "search" drop down.
Use advanced search and it's not the easiest to use, but do a search on titles only.
Use the word Pearl and you will get lot's of great info.
Bottom line is most people really like it and it's a great value.
Most think the JVC beats it, but at a cost of anywhere from $1500 to a couple grand.
Try the search and see what you find.

I'm a Pearl owner, and am very satisfied (except for an apparently faulty lamp).

However, before recommending anything, it might be good to get an idea of your considerations... room, desired image size, light control, anticipated usage, etc...
