After seeing Cliffy's new theater it got me thinking I like that Audio Transparent screen.

The question is, is it suitable for 1 XGLC Projector as opposed to Cliffys 2 G90's.

I am thinking 110" Diagonal size.

You know, I was chatting with Clarence tonight about this. I am sitting here as we speak typing away on my laptop in my theater with one G90 running.

Love it. Love it. Love it.

Been watching for two days now on one G90 at 10ft wide.

One word..... AWESOME. Not to mention, the screen took that "hottness" away from my Klipsch speakers.

Did I say I love it? :)

I didn't get to see it before he got rid of it, but there was a guy locally with a G90 that compared the SMX to Studiotek 130 and some others I think and said he would never use the SMX because it was pretty bad. So you might want to see if you can try before you buy.

Did anyone do a comparison with screenshots of the SMX Vs the StudieTek130? I know one is transparent, but the decision I need to make is to go that route or not. I

I'm using it with my XG (non LC) and it's great keeping the following in mind.

1. I was using plain BO cloth (rubbery side) prior to SMX. Compared to BO the SMX is slightly brighter.. with slightly more vivid color. Amazing since it has holes in it.

2. You need to be sitting at least 1.3x screen width or so back other wise you will see the weave.

I'm very pleased compared to my other DIY screen. Considering it looks better and also has the speakers behind it... I'd say it was WIN WIN for me... However it may be different for someone coming from a Studiotek 130
