Hey

I've been on the forums for a while but i think this is my first post/thread so hello guys!

So is there any software free or that can be purchased to play a HD-DVD? I downloaded the movie and the video files are in .MAP and .EVO extensions and cant find a program. There is a sticky on the forum on how to burn a HD-DVD on to regular DVDs, but im not sure if any would work.

thanks

So, can you play an hd-dvd in a regular pc dvd-rom drive if you have the right software, or do you need an hd-dvd pc drive? Dumb ass question, I know, but I'm curious how people are ripping the hd-dvds.

u need a HD DVD drive and the cheapest out there ist from MS, the Xbox360 ADD ON .. just connect it via USB 2 ....

if u are not using a software like anydvd HD .... then u need a HCDP video card and HDCP display....

You'll also need a dual core processor for the PC. Anydvd HD will let you rip it to a harddrive.

And welcome to the wonderful world of piracy. LOL. The OP is talking about downloading ripped HDDVDs. This thread shouldn't even be here.

I believe the term is backing them up ;)
