I just upgraded from a Ruby to an RS-1. Just got the RS-1 in tonight and did a quick set up. Overall, before any real set up it looks about like my Ruby did....Only problem is on HD sources both cable via compoent and HDDVD via HDMI I see bright lines along the frame of the image both vertical along the right side and horizontal along the top and bottom. I can get rid of it with the mask feature, but should I have to use it? I never had this issue with the Ruby? Is this the mc issue I have been reading about? pls help. I have nothing different about my set up with the ruby and rs-1, but now I have this issue. Has anyone else seen this and solved the issue?

Are they single pixel lines? Or is it a thicker column of stray light from the PJ?
I had an issue with my first Ruby, before I swapped it out, where I seemed to have a single pixel of greenon the right side. I believed it was MC when I swapped it out. If it is a single pixel, what color lines and do you still see it after you align your pixels? Overscanning it into the frame fixed that for me, until i traded it in. Using the overscan feature appears to fix that as well.
If it is stray light, it might be some light leakage, which you would be able to fix with again overscanning the leakage into the frame. It doesnt seem to me that overscanning feature would work on that, as that just blacks out the outer portion of the screen image and not the leakage OUTSIDE of the image.
