hi guys,

i have a bit of an annoying problem with my 701s. the top left side is shifting! is there anyone out there who can point to me what could possibly be the problem and give me advise on how to fix it. i have been trying to get away by fiddling with the size but its getting in to my nerves now.

I've seen this before, and the convergence board needs alignment (at least the one that I had did.) If you have a scope and voltmeter, you can probably do it (with the s/manual), if not, I can do it for you.

thanks for the reply curt. i have tried swapping the convergence board from a working unit but still does the same thing. could it be something else? its all aligned if i have just started it up, of course after the warm up time, after a few minutes of watching, it starts to bend! i do have a volt meter by the way but i dont have a scope.

Sounds like weak caps or a transistor somewhere.
