ok so one mroe problem :-p

i have a sony vph 1031qm hooked up to an xbox. the xbox is outputting rgb over component then through a component to scart adapter.

the colors are now all good and the main xbox menu is fine, except as soon as i change menus or start a game the picture scrolls vertically really fast like on a vcr is the vertical hold is way off. sometimes it gets close and catches it for a few seconds then goes crazy again.

anyone know how i might be able to fix this or have a similar projector?

thanks

You need also composite sync signal (H+V) to scart composite sync pinn 20.

Now you have sync on green or no sync at all.

Try to see if there any software updates for your Xbox, you can download via ethernet port. I have updated my Toshia XA-2 twice now for what Toshiba were calling playback issues. One of the updates for my machince addressed a sync issue between the player and display devices like Plasmas. I did not have any with my Barco but this could be a fix for you. I could email Greg E and he may be able to mod you a direct DVI input to your Sony. I'm sure there is a fix for it or a way around the problem.

Hey Crazor,
did you ever get the Xbox issue worked out? If so what was the resolution.
