I'll wait to see what future FPS games are going to have mouse/keyboard support before I decide to use one of these.

But, it's nice to know there's an alternative if future games aren't going to support the mouse/keyboard.

So that would work with all PS3 games? I sold Call of Duty 3 that I got for Christmas because I couldn't control it. I might buy it again if there was a mouse and keyboard type controller for it.

It's supposed to work with any game. I don't see how it could differentiate between games, as there is no software included with this controller?

This sounds like a winner ... damn the number of times I've yelled at the TV wishing I had a mouse/keyboard to play these console FPS games.

Looks pretty functional but I agree on the design. It needs an overhaul on the color scheme. Right now it looks down right cheap.

They are taking preorders directly. Goto their site Splitfish (http://www.splitfish.com/) and email them that you'd like to be put on their preorder list. They have been swamped with requests, so it could take a few days for you to get a response.

Do we know if all FPS games will be supported? Is the support built into the game or do we have to download extra software for each game? I am a little worried that it might be clumsy if the game wasn't designed for it. But as long as it controls well I would buy it in a heartbeat. I prefer the m/kb for shooters. Bring on UT3!

It emulates the regular motion of the sixaxis, the console and game would act just like you were using the sixaxis.

There is no software to install or compatibility to worry about, you should be able to use it with any game that works with the sixaxis (not that you would really want to).

I have E-mailed splitfish several times. They never reply.

The product is not out. I have asked at EB/GameStop/BB and CC for months. They don't even have a listing for same this month.

Given Splitfish's lacking customer service I wonder if it ever will be out in mass production. Good idea - poor production company. Just visit their web site. They haven't a clue about customer service just from the basic lack of usability of their site.

Hopefully another vendor will get a similar product to market sooner. From what I can tell Spitfish products (including their PS2 products) are not presntly sold at BB/EB/GS or any other major vendors in Southern California - that is NOT a good sign.

I'm not sure their stuff is available anywhere. Just type "SplitFish" into an ebay search... nothin'!

I'm guessing this thing was cancelled, and/or Sony paid 'em off not to release it, maybe....

Ive seen their ps2 products out at various online retailers.

I hope it never comes out. I would get owned by all you PC gamers... :mad:
