It's considerably flashier than the previous set. Any HD speculators want to weigh in? It sure looks HD friendly to me.

Obviously, there is no CCHD (yet), but South Park has been HD for a while now.

The new set looks a great deal sharper than the previous one. I also like the "grunts" and TV monitors in the glass room behind the set, working on "the news". Very amusing.

Mostly, though, the lighting and makeup is vastly superior to what is was before. While balance is now spot-on, skin colors are perfect, contrast is down a bit so that there's no splashes, all in all an excellent bit of re-engineering.

You mean besides the fact that CNN-HD has announced it is going HD this year and Comedy Central has never ever hinted at HD? :rolleyes:
