Im just trying to get an idea how people are setting these to up together. I just got the xa2 the other night and have watched quite a bit of SD DVD waiting to be blown away with the PQ, but Im not yet. Im trying to find out if I have some thing set wrong because I don't see a lot of improvement over my HD A1? Im using hdmi and have xa2 set to 1080i or 1080p with random nr on and EE2 on to give the RUBY a little help with sharpness. The RUBY is on cinema or dynamic in auto iris with sharpness at 50. I think it looks better at 1080i because it still lets me use that dci in mode 1 for more detail. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. I may return it and keep the A1 if it doesn't get any better than this, and go neutral with the Samsung 1200.
