I was under the impression that New line Cinema was part of the HD-DVD camp (not exclusive but part of it)

I'd love to have

LOTR Extended Cut Trilogy
Nightmare on Elm Street
Texas Chainsaw Massacre as well as The Begining
Blade 1-3
Domino
Heavens Prisoners
Surviving the Game
Rush hour 1 & 2
Snakes on A Plane
American history X
Critters
Guyver
15 Minutes
A Histroy of Violence
The Astronauts Wife

Well, it's definitely frustrating - I consider New Line to have about as much that I want as any of the big studios have (like Universal/Fox/Disney). You'd think we'd know or have heard more by now.

The neutral companies like HBO, New Line, Dreamworks, and Paramount who are acting all apprehensive and jerky about releasing titles regularly are, in a way, even more annoying then the exclusive studios that don't belong to your format of choice. It's the "not knowing" and the pussy-footing that is so uncomfortable to endure.

But it goes to show you that, we're all gonna have to stay pretty comfortable with SD DVD for a lot of stuff we want to watch - for a long time - since apparently even a lot of titles you would expect to see early on, may take forever to come out in a good HD form.

New Line has not yet announced any titles with dates.

They of course are distributed by Warner Home Video.

We'll blab like crazy when they are announced. Keep your shirts on.

New Line said at CES that TotalHD would accelorate their plans to launch HD discs. If this is "accelorated" I'd hate to see slow.

They will release this year, hopefully by July. It's just annoying that they haven't announced anything yet. Maybe they're waiting to see how TotalHD will work in the real world first.

"Oh, it's true. You are Brock Landers."
