Well, its been over a week since I posted the Ms. Battlestar Galactica Pageant, and in the RDM tradition of no easy answers, it ended in a dead heat (18-18) between Caprica Six/Gina and Boomer/Sharon/Athena, which was surprising as Six maintained a slight lead throughout much of the voting.

Obviously we have no choice but to hold a runoff vote between these two cylon beauties (and no bitching or moaning from the Racetrack/ Tory dark horse factions) ;) to settle the issue once and for all.

No recounts, No resurrection ships, and No nukes!

Let the games begin.

Okay people, its been about a week and a half since I posted this follow-up "poll', which is a "run-off" poll because we had a deadlock in the original poll between Sharon and Six.

But now, we've got another deadlock in this one (3-3), and I notice that only about a third of those who voted in the last one have backed one of these ladies in this one.

Now maybe a few are bitter that their 'pony' didn't make it to the finals, but we all know with one good revealing shot in a Season 4 episode, that could all change. ;)

Look, other than the UHD re-runs (assuming you get them), you've got no other BSG 'fix' coming until 2008 (I'm not counting the Proposed Pegasus Pilot - say that 3 times fast :D ), so you might as well vote and get this last shot in, before you get the cold sweats and start vomiting later this year.

So c'mon, which is it: the blonde glamour girl or the exotic brunette? The ponytail or the coif? There is no wrong answer (unless you do a write-in for Callie) :D

Well now the votes are in, and its all over except for the shouting. Our thanks to all the colonists who voted. The overwhelming :rolleyes: vox populi response to this run-pff poll reveals that Sharon/Boomer/Athena has been named Ms. Battlestar Galactica and beaten that blonde hussy, Caprica Six/Gina, by a rousing two votes.

I'm glad to see the votes went to the hotter women. Yes Tricia is done up on the show to look sexy etc. and she is...but in "real life" she's no where near as hot as Grace.

There is no link. In the first season, Boomer went to the Cylon base ship and blew it up. My friend had to animate the Sharon cylons in that sequence. To do that he was given a nude photo. Actually, she wore a patch. I think he was told to delete the photos when finished. For some reason they never made it to the trash.:) After seeing the photo, I was unimpressed.

Two years ago, my friend would have been pissed with me telling everyone this. Now, he doesn't care. Apparently BSG thinks the current cylon animator is excellent. They blew him out when he was invited for a visit last fall. This was right before some of that crappy cylon animation showed up in the fall season. He is the first to admit when the animation looks good. An example is the infamous gun fight on the planet at the end of the fall season. He said the animation was fine, but that the composting was for crap (I think I have that correct).

As for Tricia, I think she is even better looking with her normal hair color. I don't believe I have seen a bad pic of her. My friend met her at some BSG event and he said she was even better looking in person. He also said she was one of the nicest actors he has met while in LA. That says a lot for someone who loves to hear David Spade trash celebrities.

Ericglo's got a point. Grace Park is kind of the poster-girl for the ultra-thin paradigm of beauty that is so popular right now. Great butt, sure, no question. But no "curves" whatsoever, the proverbial carpenter's dream. Some would say the body of a 12 year old of either gender. Nah, give me Trica's womanly curves any day. Or Dee (heck yeah!). Or Racetrack. Heck, even Rosalyn! (There's something to be said for a mature woman's sexuality. That one scene in Baltar's fantasy sequence in her office - you could tell she still has it goin' on.) ;)

Exactly!! Even my friends wife looked at the photo and was like eat something. She is anorexic thin and I personally don't find that attractive. I must confess that I am starting to have a thing for Tori.:)
