Well Universal holds the video release rights for the UK, so it could certainly arrive on HD-DVD at some point. Probably be cheaper to import than a Fox title anyway, and would certainly have more bonus material. Oh, and it probably wouldn't get canceled at the last minute with no explanation either! :D

If and when Universal release this on HD-DVD in the UK you need to know that our version was cut by the F***ING BBFC to get a 15 rating rather than an 18, do not support censorship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup. Cameron put a disclaimer on the PAL laserdisc cover about the cuts, and even though an uncut version snuck out on UK DVD, it was soon recalled and replaced with the cut version. And the cuts are bad, man. Don't get too excited. . .

Are these would be Pal also just like with DVD?

I wanted an anamorphic version of "True Lies" on DVD and stupidly got the UK version.

The UK version is horrible...the picture quality is no better than the LaserDisc and the cuts...oh the cuts.... are terrible.

Remember when Arnold swings the meathook? Cut and shortened.
Remember when Arnold hits the guy in the bathroom with the hand dryer? Cut..

The whole rhythm of film is off in the UK version.
