This is probably the best HD DVD deal I have ever seen in Canada. Futureshop.ca has the Ultimate Matrix Boxset up for preorder at $81.90 CDN. They must have screwed up the prices, since the Trilogy box set is at $104.99.

Comparing prices to Amazon.com shows just how good a deal this is. Amazon.com has the boxset at $83.95 USD.

So, if anyone's thinking about the Ultimate Matrix set in Canada, you'll probably not find a better deal/mixup than this. Shipping for the set came to $1.99 CDN for me, so it'll probably be around there for everyone else in Canada too.

I believe the Trilogy on Amazon.com is $69.95 USD plus $5.00 shipping. I pre-ordered from them so total Canadian should be well under what FutureShop is offering for the Trilogy - or maybe not. The $81.90 looks like an error - the prices should be reversed with the Trilogy at that price which would be around the total if I purchased and shipped from the U.S. I wonder if they'll honor the pre-order when they find out the error?
