So I'm putting together a Middle Atlantic Slim-5 37space rack. I've got the rails attached to the top and bottom plate. As I go to attach the other plates/brackets, I notice the holes in the rails are not threaded. Then I notice the included screws are not self-tapping. I try and I try and I actually got a couple of screws to catch, but this can't be right. The final clue that something is wrong is that one of the rails is threaded and three are not.

I just want to confirm that all the front mounting holes on the rails should have a 10-32 thread before I call the store tomorrow.

Sometimes you get a few holes that didn't get threaded properly or got covered by paint. Just get a $5 tapset and send it through where you need it. I keep one in my toolbag.

That's a good idea if it were only a few, but it's every hole on three of the rails. Even though I may not use every hole, that's potentially 300 holes I would need to tap. I'll give the store a call tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback.
