Anyone know of a good kit or other suggestions on cleaning my camcorder lens as well as the lcd screen? I picked up these moistened towlets and they are just horrible and leave streaks on my screen.

Nobody cleans there equipment? lol

I only use the original Lens Pen to clean my lenses and camera sensors (dSLR). Never had to clean my camcorder LCD ever other than dusting them using a bulb blower.

Well having the Sony UX7, it has the LCD touch screen and gets fingerprints of course... as I said I tried these wipes but they left lots of streaking. As for the lense cleaning I will look into this Lens Pen... thanks.

I think the Lens Pen can be used to clean screen as well. After all, they even have a product to clean dSLR sensor.

For Sony LCD touch screens I find the LCD screen protectors very helpful. They are thin films of some plastic sheet. You can get them in booklets in photo shops. Just cut it to the same size of the LCD screen and let it cling on it with vaccum. As long as you can get all the air bubbles out it won't affect the touch screen operations in any way.

For the actual lens I always use a UV filter/protector. I only clean the lens very ocasionally with a blower.
