I ordered from them about 10 days ago and this is what it says

Shipped Out via USPS Air Parcel

the tracking number they gave me i copied and pasted it into the USPS website and it says

There is no record of this item

did i get screwed

Being in Canada shouldn't have nothing to do with it,should it

Monoprice customer service is top notch. I am sure they can straighten out your tracking info. Being in Canada, you might run into Customs delaying shipments.

that tracking number doesn't work for some reason for Canadian orders... I just received my 3rd order from monoprice today. Great company. Fast shipping too.. Ordered last wednesday and was here this morning... Your stuff will be there in no time :)

I ordered a M1-D to DVI-D adapter (for IN72) and just discovered the same thing (tracking code doesn't work on USPS site). Good to hear it's normal.

Honestly USPS tracking is spotty even in the US. Frequently I'll receive a tracking number and it it won't show up at all until after the package is delivered orI've seen the local PO scan an outgoing package into the system and it won't list at all until after delivery . Occasionally it will register the original pickup and forget to tell me a package has been delivered (or it may finally show up a day or two later). Sometimes it will include intermediate stops, sometimes not. It's a frustrating issue to be sure.

The lack of International Tracking ability was definately a problem when I used to do somef laserdisc sales to Canada or Europe particularly when the customs people decide to hold onto a package for 4-6 weeks and there was no ability to know where the package was sitting.

My monoprice purchase just showed up. 10 days as well from US-CAN.
