A bit surprised I could not find any references to this product here at AVS, even though it might be a fairly recent offering from Owens Corning, not sure.

All I have to say is you better have DEEP POCKETS for anything that says QuietZone on it.

Chris Klein of Cinematech ARS has used/uses a system similar to that in their Cinematech ARS theaters (formerly Acoustic Room Systems).

Just so's you know, ARS used to be part of Owens Corning. It was sold off, and to my knowledge there is no current connection whatsoever. But there's probably some common technology that dates back to the old OC days and is not formally a part of ARS stuff -- the latter being flippable high/low frequency panels.

I'm curious about this as well. I'm finishing my basement and the quietzone noise control bats might be good for the ceiling as long as they aren't way more expensive. How is this different from normal insulation?

I remembered one specific thread about Solserene, but when I did a search it didn't come up (just some brief mentions), so I searched the archives and found it (plus a few others).
