th-58px60u The prices on these displays are incredible. I have a few questions and comments

I intend on getting hd-dvd and or blueray player
I am a serious movie watching buff and love to watch football DTV NFL Sunday ticket in HD.
I'm so confused about the benefits of 1080p and seating distance at this size.

I'm like alot of first panel wanna be owners I don't want years of buyers remorse.

I read these forums daily and I guess I just need a little encouragement to get me over my hesitation.

Please feel free to laugh at my expense. But maybe all you great people can give me just that one pearl of wisdom or insite that can let me start enjoying some HD

I will be sitting at 8.5 to 9 feet distance away should I opt for 1080p (th-58pz700)?
Will I see a benefit from 1080p at this screen size and distance?
In some cases I may sit at even 7 feet away (you know like on the edge of my seat on a game winning football play)

If you were sitting 12' away from a 58" screen, then there would be no benefit, assuming average vision.
