Looking for advice on updating to plasma. Current system is dinosaur Mits 46 RPTV (but still delivers great picture). Will be sitting about 12 feet from new plasma.
I've got about $5000 to spend. Primarily looking at 50" Pioneer/Elite PRO-FHD1 and the upcoming Panasonic TH-58PZ700U. I know the advice may be difficult because know has really seen the new 58" Panny, but any ideas from the information available?

At 12' veiwing distance a 50" screen in not real big; I'd look for something bigger.
