So I'm still a newb when it comes to HD DVD, so my question is how can I convert my HDV tapes to a dvd and thus show it on the HD DVD (I'm using the XBOX 360 add on HD DVD) which is hooked up to a Denon 3806 which is going to my Fujitsu 50" plasma. I'm wondering one other thing...can I make SD DVD's to pass out to family, if so what software can do this...I don't have any editing software so any suggestions would be fantastic. Can a regular dvd burner copy my HDV tape (through the computer) and still make it HD on a standard DVD disc?
