Hi all, I have a panasonic ax100u with a peerless ceiling mount, and I have a 100" diagonal screen.

Basically, across the width of the 100" screen, it tilts about 1". Nobody notices unless I say something...

But anyway, it seems that after I adjust it and tighten back up the mount screws it seems to sag... making it very difficult to get it correct. Especially since it's on the ceiling and I'm doing this from a ladder.

So does anyone have any nifty tips/tricks on doing it that I haven't thought of?

Thanks!

How about using a couple zip tie mounts and zip tie the heavy end that keeps drooping.

I'd also suggest a different ceiling mount but that's more money and work.

Well the ceiling mount was not a cheapie, and seems very solid, so I'm hoping that isn't it!

I'm not sure how heavy the AX100 is. My mount has a ball joint and when I lock it in, it doesn't move again, ever. But, my PJ is not heavy either.

You could try some rubber washers where the rotation happens, eliminating the possibility of slipping. Or lock washers.

If you are using the universal adapter plate with your mount, i would make sure you have the center disc of the universal adapter plate centered over the bottom of the projector (or wherever the weight seems to be centered in the projector- you can determine this by placing any type of rod under the projector and roll the projector back and forth on the rod until you find where the heaviest point is, once that is determined, you can place your universal plate over that spot). Your projector is only 10 lbs and the PJF2 mount has a max load of 50 lbs, sagging should not accur. The only other option would be to replace your PJF2 projector mount with the PRS, which has a more precise tilting mechanism (uses 4 screws instead of a single screw).
