I hope the tv has the same styling as the 54 series. The size is great. Wonder what the opening street prices will be.

I wonder if it will compare to the 1080p panasonics like the 6373 compares to the 720p panasonics or pioneers.

This is definitely a set I am interested in getting additional information. I'm hoping the price is say <$7000 and contrast better than the upcoming Panasonic 700s. I was compaing a Pany 65" 1080p next to a Pany 50" 75U. The 50" IMHO crushed the 65" Pany. So, I'm hoping Samsung releases the 63" with better black lever performance than Pany 1080p... If not, I'll probably go with the 58PZ700

philips announced at CES a 63" 1080p plasma for summer release with a msrp of $5499 and carrying over their current 63" 768p model with msrp of $3499 which is a samsung panel.

so good chance that samsung will have it's own branded 63" 1080p version out soon, and a guess would put the msrp at $6000-6500.

Well it says it is coming out April 2007. There is no info anywhere on the internet otherwise, and Samsung does not have any info even on their customer service line.
