I watch the occasional [from my perspective] "foreign" film and most that I've seen have been very good. Granted, I only watched them because they garnered good reviews, I'm sure there are foreign tankers out there like "Flyboys".
We all know the US film industry/MPAA is operated very much like a cartel, so competition is generally perceived as B A D to them. So how do those of us in the US get more foreign films delivered in HD? Are they marketed and sold in their respective countries of origin?
Well you can start by trying all of the Amazons all will export to the US.
Www.amazon.co.uk UK
Www.amazon.fr france
Www.amazon.jp japan
I mostly use:

Good question, I was wonder if anyone had a comprehensive list of over-seas releases. So far it does seem to be Foreign releases of our stuff. This could just have to do with where you gotta be to find the resources to author HDM.

Me too, they are really pretty reasonable considering how bad the exchange rates are now (pretty much $2 to the pound!).

There are a few, but not nearly enough. Perhaps more will come later. Unfortunately some, such as those made for the Japanese market, don't have English subs.
