Cowdisease 04-20-07, 11:59 AM Can you use the wireless headset for things like chatting on MSN?I believe that with the PC Wireless receiver, you can use any Xbox 360 wireless accessory on your PC. The answer should be 'yes', but I can't confirm since I don't have the wireless headset. edcokpareke 06-18-07, 02:47 PM Another question about this device: If I plug this wireless receiver to my PC and hook my wireless controller to it, can I use my wireless controller as a mouse? In other words, can I move the regular mouse sursor around and select pc icons, scroll web pages etc with the wireless controller? edcokpareke 06-19-07, 03:32 PM Does anyone have an answer? If I use this device.... http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g38/edcokpareke/wgr.jpg ...by plugging it into my PC, I know I'll be able to use my 360 controller for games on my PC. However, I'd like to ALSO use my 360 controller as a mouse; i.e. move my cursor around in the Windows environment and select icons, files, etc. Can this be done? Does anyone know?? ggreen1 06-19-07, 05:05 PM @ curtis104 I use the wireless headset and receiver for voice chat in games but I have not tried it in MSN. It should work without issue as long as you turn on the wireless headset before launching your application so it will be recognized properly. I am glad I purchased both actually @ edcokpareke Doesn't seem to work for me. I just did a quick test and nothing happened Charlie97L 06-20-07, 09:26 AM Does anyone have an answer? Total Game Control 3.5 http://www.download3000.com/download_5005.html Total Game Control gives you the ultimate control over your games. It works by mapping keyboard, mouse, and other events to the controls on your game pad or joystick. Set up the controls the way you want. Tie complex moves to a single button, or map them to any combination of controls. No other game profiler offers all of the features or the ease of use that Total Game Control gives you. Works with any gaming device. Also works with console game pads such as XBox 360, Sony Playstation, PS2, Gamecube, XBox, etc. when connected through a PC adapter (XBox 360 does not require an adapter). It'd be a great way to play MMOs on the big screen from my couch. ibuycheap 05-10-09, 10:46 PM Has anyone tried using the Messenger Kit with wireless controller, and the wireless receiver to type on a PC? It'd be a great way to play MMOs on the big screen from my couch. the chatpad does not work with the wireless receiver no dice. Naylia 05-10-09, 11:42 PM damn...it could have been so excellent formulanerd 05-11-09, 12:13 PM that would suck with all the macros and spell hotkeys on the keyboard. Naylia 05-11-09, 01:24 PM Nah...those are easily mapped to gamepad buttons/combos. I've been playing GW without issue. It would just be nice for chatting. formulanerd 05-11-09, 01:43 PM lol, you must play casually... and definitely no PvP Naylia 05-11-09, 02:31 PM I used to, back before the expansion packs, just getting back into it to do some casual roaming around. |
