Can you use the wireless headset for things like chatting on MSN?

Can you use the wireless headset for things like chatting on MSN?I believe that with the PC Wireless receiver, you can use any Xbox 360 wireless accessory on your PC. The answer should be 'yes', but I can't confirm since I don't have the wireless headset.

Another question about this device:

If I plug this wireless receiver to my PC and hook my wireless controller to it, can I use my wireless controller as a mouse? In other words, can I move the regular mouse sursor around and select pc icons, scroll web pages etc with the wireless controller?

Does anyone have an answer? If I use this device....

I use the wireless headset and receiver for voice chat in games but I have not tried it in MSN. It should work without issue as long as you turn on the wireless headset before launching your application so it will be recognized properly. I am glad I purchased both actually

not unless you get a program that will let what windows recognizes as a "game controller/joystick" be used as the mouse.

the chatpad does not work with the wireless receiver no dice.

damn...it could have been so excellent

that would suck with all the macros and spell hotkeys on the keyboard.

Nah...those are easily mapped to gamepad buttons/combos. I've been playing GW without issue. It would just be nice for chatting.
