For all people who have an ELAN VIA64 touchpanel whole house system at home, I have a good message:
After having enough troubles with an Imerge music server (Integra NAS 2.3 and ELAN VIAdj, same products) and sick of limitations and empty promises, I decided some months ago to build an own computer music server and integrate it into the ELAN touchpanel system.
The costs were around $ 1000, the system can store right now around 120'000 MP3 music tracks at good quality (endless expansion possibilities included for additional costs). The touchpanel program has been written by myself and works flawlessly. And as a media server program I use "J. River Media Center 12", which is simply the BEST media server program around (cheap too) - my humble opinion after having checked out every program I could find.
Everyone who has a similar problem to solve can send me a PM.
If necessary I can also post touchpanel screenshots and so on.
