Hey I am curious if anyone has experience with HDMI on a VIZIO VX32L, I currently have my laptop hooked up VIA VGA so that slot is taken. So I am wondering if it would be beneficial to purchase the Elite and use HDMI or should I purchase the premium and use component. Which brings me to my next question, how does Component look?

Keep in mind that this is on my computer table, so I am going to be within 1-2 feet of the screen.

YMMV but probably not.
It doesn't sound like Vizio gives a zero-overscan option.
Whatever HDMI gives you, overscan takes away with interest.
Might want to look into a VGA switcher instead.

Hmmmm to bad, I have a VGA switch box lying around in the garage somewhere. Is there a loss in quality when using one? The one I have has to be pretty old, it's a big grey one with a knob to switch VGA sources haha.
